First of all, happy 2020 to everyone. I loved 2019, but I'm looking forward to what this new year has in store.
There are some exciting changes coming to the penny paintings!
I'd like to prelude this with the fact that I have had some of the most amazing customers over the past several months. Being an artist, not a jewelry designer, it took a bit of trial and error to find a design that not only looked good for the penny charms, but also holds them in place without any worry of losing one. With that being said, some very wonderful women have pointed me to coin bezels. (who knew there was such a thing?)
Below, are photos of where the pennies started, and then where they went. The first has a jump ring, and the 2nd has a glue on bale.
I like both styles, but the bezels are amazing. The photos below are from two amazing customers who shared a step-up for the Pet Pennies they received.
So, why am I sharing this with you? I tell you all this because starting next month, each Penny Painting is going to come with a bezel. In order to make sure I give you a great product, I am ordering quality sterling silver bezels, which means there will be a price increase.
Your painted penny will still come with a free bracelet, and even with this upgrade, you are still paying a very small price for a completely hand-painted portrait.
These are truly one of a kind, and such great gifts for any pet lover.
Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions.
